Pilot Hill Farm

Named in honor of our West Tisbury neighbor where we tend a plot of flowers and they grow produce and flowers as well as tend a large flock of egg-laying chickens and a small herd of cows. Pilot Hill Farm (Room 33)—our most private and exclusive of accommodations—is located on the second floor of our farm’s former barn. Featuring a king bed and a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed, this elegant room can accommodate up to four guests. With its view of our gorgeous rhododendrons and our cottage gardens, Pilot Hill is perfect for a bride and groom, members of a wedding party, or a couple looking to spend private time alone together. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.

A few things to note

Lambert’s Cove Inn is located on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, which is only accessible by ferry or airplane. We strongly urge you to make ferry reservations in advance, particularly if you plan to take your car with you. For more details, see Getting Here.   

TRANSPORTATION
If you have your car when staying with us, you’ll have easy access to the island. If you do not have a car, please know that we are off the beaten path, and you will need to use taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts to find your way around the island efficiently. Ubers and Lyfts can be very expensive and are not as reliable as taxis. Car rentals are also available. We recommend MV Auto Rentals. Contact them at 508-696-5300 or visit mvautorentals.com. 

There is an island-wide bus system with stops and routes in each town. Schedules and fares are available at vineyardtransit.com or call 508-693-9440. The nearest bus stop to the inn is across the street from Lambert’s Cove Beach. We’ll gladly drive you in our golf cart or you may walk or bike. Please be aware that our golf cart cannot travel on the public roads after sunset. If you need help or have questions, please contact us or call 508-422-8051.

LOCATION
Lambert’s Cove Inn is in a private, pristine, and uncrowded part of the island. We are located up a winding road in West Tisbury, up-island, a little less than a 15-minute drive from the ferry in Vineyard Haven.  

FOOD & DINING
The closest restaurant or grocery store is two miles away in West Tisbury. We do not offer lunch, so we recommend making plans in advance for meals between breakfast and dinner. 

We strongly recommend that you make dinner reservations for Foster Restaurant ahead of your stay as we can not guarantee availability.
