Driven by the rugged beauty and the sea-driven tastes of New England, Restaurant Foster's food is guided by each season's flavors and colors. Restaurant Foster's menu offers rustic, extraordinarily flavorful, naturally-inspired choices. Restaurant Foster is allergy and food-choice sensitive. Most dishes can be altered to be gluten free and alpha-gal friendly. Vegetarian dishes can be modified to be vegan.
Saluting Stewardship
Restaurant Foster is named both for the original owner of Lambert's Cove Inn and for the current owners' philosophy of nurturing people, the land, and the local community. Naturalist Francis Foster owned the inn from 1916 to 1966, and our restaurant honors his love and respect for the natural world, the Vineyard, and our up-island paradise.
