Galen Sampson
Co-Owner & Executive Chef

Galen is the co-owner of Lambert’s Cove Inn and the driving force of our dining experience, including wedding catering, Restaurant Foster, Mermaid Bar, and our private dining options. Throughout his notable career, he’s worked in and led culinary programs in storied resorts, hotels, and restaurants throughout the United States. Galen has a passion for innovative, flavorful food, with an emphasis on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

Bridget Sampson
Co-Owner & Farmer Florist

Bridget is the co-owner of Lambert’s Cove Inn and the person responsible for the bounty of fresh flowers found throughout the property. Whether it’s designing the flowers found in our English cottage garden or working with a couple to design customer floral arrangements for their wedding, Bridget brings a creative, collaborative spark to the experience of Lambert’s Cove Inn.

Olivia Matthews
Director of Rooms and Events

Olivia Matthews brings years of events experience to our Vineyard inn. Most recently she worked at Chanel in New York City, where she honed her attention to detail and her take on elegant and stunning design. She brings warmth and sophistication as our Director of Rooms and Events, and under her direction, your stay, wedding, or event will be meticulously and gorgeously planned. Olivia also got married here at Lambert’s Cove Inn in our dahlia-popping October garden, so she also brings an insider's perspective to all aspects of your experience.

Malaika Suarez
General Manager of Food & Beverage

Malaika Suarez serves as the General Manager of Food & Beverage, where she blends operational expertise with a background in fine art and photography. Prior to joining the team, she led the opening of Please Don’t Tell (PDT) at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong. Within its first year under GM Suarez it was named Best New Bar in Hong Kong by Tatler. With gratitude as a guest on Wampanoag lands, Malaika focuses on incorporating sustainability in our property's operations. Her time living abroad & on the Island, immersed in five-star bespoke hospitality, sharpened her vision for what a venue can achieve when the entire team's individuality and knowledge are embraced. At Lambert’s Cove Inn she’s focused on building that same synergy — creating thoughtful & rare experiences for our guests.

Pearl & Cait, Chief Herding Officer and VP of Wagging Operations 

Pearl and Cait are our resident pups of Lambert’s Cove Inn. They enjoy herding anything that’s fallen out of line, as well as greeting our guests with joy and enthusiasm. Experts in belly rubs, treats, walks, and long lazy days in the sun, Pearl and Cait can’t wait to meet you.
