Meet our wedding coordinator…
Joanna Fairchild has been a year-round resident of Martha’s Vineyard since 1995. She owned a business in Oak Bluffs called High Rollers in 1979. In 2005 she founded Vineyard Coach & Concierge, a transportation and event planning company. In 2013 she sold her company and now is a full time wedding planner and in- house wedding coordinator for Lamberts Cove Inn. As a public relations and event executive in Boston, she managed her own consulting business and held positions at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, the Sheraton Tara Hotels, Reebok International, Harvard University, Bank of America and Arnold Worldwide Advertising. In 2004 she served as the head concierge at the Harbor View Hotel. She also holds a real estate sales agent license with Ocean Park Realty.
To reserve the inn for your Martha’s Vineyard wedding or other event there is an inn fee. This will be discussed upon your initial inquiry.
Whether a small or large event, the inn’s professional, friendly staff with its in-house Martha’s Vineyard wedding consultant and restaurant chefs can assist you with all of your planning needs. Indoors, with our two dining rooms, we can seat up to 75 dinner guests for a sit-down brunch, lunch or dinner. Or, if you prefer a stand-up cocktail reception, we can accommodate between 75 and 100 guests in our library and parlor. For larger groups – up to 300 guests – tents and other equipment may be rented locally and your event will be held outdoors. Keep in mind that the best time for outdoor events is in the warmer months of June through October.
When reserving the Lambert’s Cove Inn & Restaurant for a Martha’s Vineyard Wedding, you are also reserving our 15 beautifully appointed guest rooms. Your guest will pay an averaged room rate, occupy rooms assigned by you, and call us directly to confirm and pay for the room. However, all rooms must be paid for, in full, 30 days prior to the Martha’s Vineyard wedding and any unused rooms will be your financial responsibility. Also be aware that some dates may require two or three night minimums.
The Lambert’s Cove Inn & Restaurant is the ideal location for your company, professional group or organizations’ meeting, conference or seminar. We have a private conference room seating 15 guests and can provide breakfast and lunch as well as organize outings for your guests. Please call for further information.
